Here you will find the K120 ski jump and the mammoth ski jump for ski flying K180, now known as HS 205, which allows flights over 210 meters. If you’re looking for a little adrenaline rush, there is a bobsled track for you. It is about 1,000 meters long, with a 38-meter elevation, an average slope of 6%, and a maximum slope of 12%. It has 17 turns and two attractive above-ground crossings. You definitely won’t be bored here. When you’ve had enough of the mountains during your visit to Harrachov and feel like a bit of culture, entertainment, and learning, you can visit the exhibitions of the Mining Museum, which includes a publicly accessible underground tour. The Mining Museum and underground tour in Harrachov opened in March 2003 at the level of the former mine floor. The museum showcases samples of fluorite mineral deposits, tools and equipment used in mining, maps, and photographs documenting work in the local deposit. The underground tour is approximately 1 km long. The route passes through a typical ore mine environment. It is filled with gravel and illuminated, with an average annual temperature of 7°C. Visitors are provided with protective helmets and will see mining carts, battery-operated locomotives, mining loaders, and more. The guided tour lasts 45 minutes (visitors explore the museum on their own before entering the tour of the mine) and visitors will learn about the work in mines that no longer exist today.
